After 30 years in the beauty industry, I’ve learned that my favorite part of the job hasn’t changed: it’s the transformation. There is nothing quite like seeing someone stand up from my chair and realize they feel like a brand-new version of themselves.

My journey began when I was just 15, living in Germany and attending an American high school. I was lucky enough to land a role with Max Factor early on, and that spark of passion quickly turned into a career. By the time I moved to Colorado at 18 to train as a hairdresser and eventually a cosmetology instructor, I knew I had found my calling.

I’ve always been drawn to a challenge, which is what eventually led me to Las Vegas. I started as an Artistic Director for Saks Fifth Avenue, but by 23, I was ready to bet on myself and open my own salon. That chapter was a whirlwind of incredible experiences—I became a Master Colorist and had the privilege of working with some truly iconic clients, from Toni Tennille and Joan Collins to Engelbert Humperdinck and Kathryn Oxenberg.

Life has a funny way of taking you in unexpected directions. Love eventually pulled me back to Germany, where I had to hit the reset button and start from scratch. It wasn't easy, but it led to some of my most rewarding years, including eight years as a platform artist for Paul Mitchell and opening "The Kokopelli Hair Company" in Wuerzburg with my dear friend, Udo. Those 12 years were spent traveling the globe, chasing the latest trends, and honing my craft.

In 2012, I decided I’d had enough of those cold German winters and headed back to where I’m most at home: Las Vegas.

Today, I’m happily building my clientele at Posare on Eastern Ave. My philosophy is simple: keep learning, keep evolving, and make sure every person who sits in my chair leaves feeling confident and cared for.
