About me

With my 30 years of experience in the beauty business, self-employed and salon owner as well as instructor, I have achieved a certain level of expertise. Marked by different stages of my life between Europe and Las Vegas.

It all began when I was 15 years old, living in Germany and attending an American high school in Wiesbaden, Germany. My passion for fashion and styling was awakened at an early age. Thanks to the guidance and referral of a good friend I received the opportunity to work for Max Factor. Driven by ambition, I quickly learned about the basics as a Make-up artist, in addition to my high school education. My hard work, training and perseverance paid off as a Make-up artists, with successes at Revlon, Estée Lauder and Dior, to mention a few.

You never know where life's going to take you, so I ended up in Colorado at the age of 18, where I completed my training as a hairdresser with flying  colors. After one year of experience, the next challenge was to achieve my license as a cosmetology instructor at AAA Midwest Beauty College/ Colorado.

Looking for a little more excitement, I decided to move to Las Vegas, the city that never sleeps. There I started working as a Stylist and Artistic Director for "Saks Fifth Ave. West Coast". One year later at the age of 23, to challenge myself I fulfilled my greatest desire and became my own boss.  Additional training at Redken, Wella, LOREAL, Matrix and Framisi, provided me with the experience needed and I found my calling as a Master Colorist. Stars such as Toni Tennille, Engelbert Humperdinck, Kathryn Oxenberg and Joan Collins, were soon part of my prominent cliental.

If it wouldn't have been for love, I probably would have stayed in the USA, but as life goes, I decided to give everything up and to follow my heart. This led me again to Germany, where it was not easy to start a new life from scratch.  Thanks to my positive attitude, I was given the opportunity to start working at a renowned Salon in Wuerzburg. There I stayed for the next 8 years,  as a Stylist and a Plat Form Artist for Paul Mitchell. After this long period, I decided in 2000 to get together with my dear friend Udo to set up a  new store in Wuerzburg called "The Kokopelli Hair Company". I resided there for 12 fulfilling years of my life, traveling all over the World searching for the newest hair trends.

In 2012 I was done with the cold winters in Germany and decided to finally move back to my family in Las Vegas. Currently I am building my cliental at  a wonderful little location on Eastern Ave. called Posare.   If you are looking for an excellent stylist and you would like to feel like a new person leaving my chair,  please call me at any time.
